About Transport Knowledge Conference

The Ministry of Transport’s annual Transport Knowledge Conference (TKC) is a flagship one-day event where researchers, practitioners, and policy practitioners come together to explore cutting-edge research, share insights, and shape the future of transport in New Zealand. The conference features keynote speakers and parallel sessions on critical issues affecting transport policy and practice.

The Ministry is running its 11th TKC at the University of Auckland on 18 November 2025. This year’s TKC is also the first day of the 2025 Australasian Transport Research Forum (ATRF) Conference.
